Training Packages

ZIG Training

New adventures may be scary, may make you feel so intimidated that you put it on the back burner for as long as possible on a slow simmer. But, I want to feel rewarded in life and I want to make a difference. When I started my fitness journey I had no idea what I was doing, I felt clueless with so much information out there and so many different opinions always flying around. I stuck with it and researched, also followed others on instagram to learn by their example, and it made it easier when I started to find what I could balance in my life. I wanted to make it a maintainable lifestyle. I started back in October 2013 with intentions of loosing 30 lbs as fast as possible. Even if I did loose that weight I would have gained it all right back and some, once I got off track or took a break to enjoy life. Since then I have adopted IIFYM (if it fits your macros) into my life and knowing just how to listen to my body, and I am slowly dropping body fat, but I know since I am doing it the healthy way or the maintainable way I will be greatly rewarded in the end.   I want to be able to enjoy life, but still feel confident in my own skin as many others do. We need balance in our lives, that is why no one can stick to eating tilapia and asparagus 6-7 meals a day because once you slip up, you end up right back at square one. Balance is key to success, falling in love with the process and adopting a lifestyle, will lead us all to our goals.  Slight bird walk from where I started, but I just want to show that not every one starts their journey with a perfect plan of attack or they may not know even where to start. They see all of the information that is out there, get confused then quit and give up to end up right back where they started.

I want to help people since I know exactly where they are coming from, and I know that anyone can do it if they just take that first step. Do not be afraid to ask for help from anyone, most of them started just like you and me.

I knew as soon as I started understanding everything that I needed to help others, that I needed to make a difference. I enjoy the feeling of being rewarded by others success just as much as my own.

I contemplated many alternatives that is why I joined my Advocare team in November 2013, and wondered what else I could do. I am currently a Communications Manager at an Ag company, so I wanted something that I could do on the side to help and reach out to others.  I thought long an hard for a few months.

That is why this spring I took a course with NASM to become a certified personal trainer in conjunction with taking the next step to become an Advocare Advisor.

With these two avenues in my life, I hope that I can reach out to many and show them what has worked for me in my life and how I plan to better my self each day as I grow to understand the industry. I want to coach individuals to reach their full potential, and guide them to show them that they can achieve anything that they put their heart to.

Thus, I have started my own business ZIG Training. This is only the start for me and can't wait to see where the road leads me. I have finally decided to take this opportunity off the back burner and dive into helping others, while I continue along my own journey.

Gram B

My Grandma Bette, left us here on earth a few weeks ago, right before Christmas time. It was harder than ever to loose such a big part of our lives over such a special holiday, especially since it was her favorite. Gram was a huge part of my life, as to my sister and Mom. Some days it still doesn't feel like this has really happened and the next time I will go back to Geneva, she will be at home waiting for us. But, Gram has always been there for me and I wanted to show her how much she meant to me; thus, I had written this and shared it with all of our family and friends at her memorial service.

Gram B:
Whenever anyone walked into grandmas house there was an aroma of fresh brewed coffee always surrounding you.  I can remember so many morning of waking up, going over  to her house and sitting at the table for hours drinking our "special" coffee and talking. I would give  anything to have one more cup of coffee with her, to hear her laugh, and to hear her many stories just one last time. My grandma was so full of life, so loving, and generous.  I never thought this day would come, she has fought so hard for so long I thought she would make it through anything.  Even though these last few years may have been challenging, she still would do whatever she could for us. If it was making peanut butter pies or going to special events to support us, she wanted to be for us. So care free and adventurous, she has traveled all over and seen so much. Gram has always been such a big part of my life. She was someone who was a big part of who I am today. Not only my love for shoes, diamonds and purses, but so much more. She wanted what was best for me and always helped me when I needed. She always may have not told you that you were wanting to hear, but whatever she said it was the truth. I am so blessed that she was able to be here for my high school and college graduations, and being able to share my wedding day with her. She has been there for so many important days in my life that it is going to be extremely hard to no longer be able to share those with her. But, my heart is at ease knowing she is watching down on me and all of us. that even though our family may not always be together, she will be by each of our sides.  When gram would go back to Florida each year,  giving her that one last hug before she got on the airplane, tears would come rushing to my eyes, and she would always tell me to "stop that", as she did the same, since she would see me soon. I love my gram so much, and I just have to keep telling myself that she just went away to Florida and I will see her soon. I will miss her each day, and every holiday season will be a reminder of the joy she brought to my life and to so many others.

I love you Gram, & always will!! You will forever be in all of our hearts! XOXO

Our Wedding Day!

Once upon a time...
Austin and I met on our first day of college in Lincoln, NE at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.  I was the roommate of one of his classmates from high school, so he was just stopping by to say "hi" after he got all moved in. As time progressed through our first semester of college, and we were taking classes together we started to become friends.  Our paths had started to cross more and more, and finally he asked me out on a date for Valentines Day. So, we went to the movie,Valentine's Day, on February 13th 2010, it was a very simple yet amazing first date, and I knew then he was the one for me :).
We have been through some ups and down's during our time together, but they have made us stronger than ever. The past few years we have become inseparable, and have learned a lot from one another.  Then, on November 23, 2012, Austin took me to a restaurant on the river, and surprised me with a horse and carriage ride to look at the Christmas lights of downtown Omaha.  This is where he proposed to me, and made me the happiest girl in the world to get to marry my best friend and the love of my life.  So, of course I said, YES :)  In August, it was 4 years from the first time we ever saw each other and I couldn't think of a better time for us to say " I Do".

August 10th, one of the best days of my life. I got to marry such an amazing guy, with all of my family and friends by our side.

Our Wedding Party, was full of our close family and friends. That helped our special day go perfectly! From college friends, to high school friends, to family, we couldn't have found better people to stand by our sides.

I mean seriously, what would I do without these girls?? I probably would be saying "I Do" with lipstick on my teeth!

We were extremely lucky to have such a beautiful day to be married on! Everything went smoothly, from the ceremony to the reception it was all more than I could ever ask for.

Our Ceremony.

Then, our wedding day ended with an amazing celebration with everyone by our side....

Our day was filled with some memorable moments; like our best man's and my maid of honors speeches, which left me in tears! :)

I had my something "New", something "Blue", but I was missing something "Old".  So, my grandma surprised me with the most amazing gift and gave me my something "Old" to wear on my wedding day, it was a beautiful locket with a picture of my grandpa in it. My grandpa was a very important person in my life, but he had passed away my Junior year of high school and it was so hard not to have him there on my wedding. I miss him everyday, but thanks to my grandma he was able to be by my side for my entire wedding day!

Finally, our first dance as Husband and Wife was like we were the only ones in the room, and was the perfect start to our marriage.

Now, we have been Mr & Mrs for almost 4 months now and I couldn't be happier!! :)

Thank you again to everyone!!! It would not have been the same without each and every one of you! Love you all! <3
